We had a great time at Shiso -- from the service to the vibe, everything was on point. The atmosphere is cool and laid-back, perfect for a night out in Wynwood without the chaos. The food was amazing, but the standout was hands down the king crab risotto -- rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. That dish alone is worth coming back for! The sushi was fresh and well-crafted, and the cocktails hit just right. The staff took great care of us, and the whole experience felt smooth and effortless. Shiso definitely earned a s... read more
What an amazing restaurant! We decided to go at 5:30pm on a Saturday night with no reservation and surprisingly, it wasn't packed. From the second we walked in everyone was very friendly, the decor was beautiful and modern. We sat at the bar and was presented with a Happy Hour menu along with a regular menu. We ordered a few things and the Chef also sent a few complimentary things. The drinks were phenomenal as well, i wish i remembered the names. I will tell you that the service exceeded my expectations. The bartender was v... read more

It means a lot that the service, drinks, and dishes exceeded your expectations—and we’ll definitely pass your kind words along to the bar and kitchen teams (they’ll love hearing it!). Also, huge thank you for the must-try list—those sausage-stuffed shishitos and duck dumplings are definitely stars of the menu. Can’t wait to welcome you back soon for more flavor-packed bites and laughs ... read more
This place was great, but not amazing. Everything I ate was very good or better, but nothing that I want to return for a second time except for the oxtail noodles which were phenomenal. The service was outstanding- ALMOST annoyingly so because we were trying to have a leisurely, timely dinner and they kept checking on us, but I'm not here to complain about too great of a service. The restaurant was beautiful, both the outdoor and indoor, with a spectacular bar. Now let's talk about the food-- I love scallop, and I ordere... read more

Thank you so much for the thoughtful and detailed review—it really means a lot! We’re thrilled you enjoyed the atmosphere, service, and especially the oxtail noodles (we’re with you—rich, bold, and unforgettable!). It’s great to hear you’d recommend us, even if a few dishes didn’t quite hit the mark for your personal taste. We truly appreciate your notes on the scallop nigiri, toro, and cornbread bite—it’s feedback like this that helps us fine-tune and continue pushing creatively. We’re glad the service left a strong impres... read more
We came here last minute on a Friday night with a big group. It was a late dinner, but the restaurant was still lively. The ambiance is super vibey, think 2000s hip hop playing in the background which set the mood. Shoutout to Juan, our waiter. He was super attentive and took great care of our group. My favorite dish was the udon noodles! It was tasty and a hefty plate. I wasn't a big fan of the croquettes, and the rolls are a bit pricey. Two pieces of nigiri run anywhere from $20-$32. The BBQ smoked brisket was decent, an... read more

This is becoming one of my favorite wynwood bars. I love that they have both inside and outside bar inside bar doesn't get as crowded which is nice. The food is amazing. The oxtail udon noodles chefs kiss and the sticky ribs fall off the bone .cocktails are always well balanced in the service is what Miami should be. Bartenders are great they explain the menu. Ask all the right questions if you're unsure about a cocktail.

Incredible food with a fun fresh vibe. Get the BBQ toro, get the oxtail udon. Don't miss the pork belly temaki. In fact, get everything! Cocktail are inventive, staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We've been three times already and will keep coming back. Can't wait to try brunch!

Thank you so much! We’re thrilled to hear you’ve been loving the food and vibe—especially the BBQ toro, oxtail udon, and pork belly temaki (all top picks!). Huge thanks for the shoutout to our cocktails and staff too. We can’t wait to welcome you back for brunch—it’s going to be just as unforgettable!
5 stars based on how good the oxtail udon noodles were. I would come back just to order that and nothing else! All jokes aside the short rib was VERY good and will order that again too. Dumplings were good but would probably try something else next time instead of that and the sushi was good but I think there are other plates that would be better. Highly Recommend coming here for great food, drinks and vibes! Service was great and had to double check a few times about shellfish allergy but made sure we were all good
Business response:
Thank you for the detailed and thoughtful review! We’re so glad the oxtail udon hit the mark (we’re obsessed with it too!), and it's great to hear the short rib was another standout. We appreciate your honest take on the dishes—and big thanks for highlighting our team's care with your shellfish allergy. That’s something we take seriously. Can’t wait to have you back for round two of the hits—and maybe to try a few new favorites too!
This was my first time checking out Shiso and won't be my last. I was pleasantly surprised from the walk up through the entire experience. A gentleman was out front to guide us in. He suggested the indoor bar since it was a bit muggy. I can't do the stairs too good so he walked us over to the entrance and sent us up on the elevator real vip style. Lol. The aesthetic of the entire place to include the restroom is so cute. And the food matched the vibes. I had the oxtail udon and it was delicious. The cocktail menu is separate... read more

Very average experience. The interior is beautiful but music extremely loud. The udon and the toro sushi was good, but the risotto was very oily. Everything was too salty. We had three drinks, one of them was very good but the other two were average. Slightly overpriced.
Business response:
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the space and liked the udon and toro sushi, but we're sorry to hear the overall experience didn’t fully meet expectations. We appreciate the honest notes on the food and drinks—it's feedback like yours that helps us improve.
