My friends and I ate here after skateboarding, it was our first time and it was great! the outside chill area and inside are both chill and a vibe without trying too hard. The 3 guys running the place were super cool and nice and made the food fast but with love! The food tasted incredible! as I got the bang bang chicken bao bun the flavors were savory and refreshing, loved the ingredients and depth. Mike especially was dope thank you for serving us with great food and good vibes!
Shisho crispy has delicious amazing decadent food! The chicken is next level with the perfect amount of crisp. The ahi tuna is divine. The bao buns are incredible and let’s talk about the phenomenal deserts. Banana cake wowed me. The coconut pistachio cheesecake was a delight as well. There’s are finely devoted dining room but you go out back and buy the food from a muraled food truck. There’s staff is friendly and they are quick even if it’s busy. I loveeee itttt
The food was too saucy, like overly saucy and the rice at the bottom had even more sauce. I got the bang bang chicken and it was really crispy and overly saucy. The chive and cream cheese rations were mediocre at best and will say that easily the best thing we got, were the spring rolls and even those were a bit too mushy inside. Literally, Shiso Crispy is the best food/hidden gem in St Pete. That’s the place where you get to brag about and show your friends. I have the bang bang chicken one time and your life will be forever changed. I can’t even eat Chinese food anymore.
Yo, if you’re ever in downtown Saint Pete, you got to stop by Shiso Crispy. ANYTHING on the menu is fire. I personally like the Bang Bang Chicken Bao Buns and Dirty Rice. I promise it’s gonna bring you right back here so you can thank me. Don’t forget to come back here and thank me.
