I am writing to bring to your attention an extremely disappointing experience I had with an employee of your company on March 19, 2025, at approximately 8:20 PM. I would like to first ask: how does a company that claims to be "professional" make such a critical error by sending new customers emails containing incorrect and misleading information? Imane was of great help, showed us everything with great patience. Good prices to store the things and they have storage units in all sizes. Very close to gare du Nord and good connection to line 4.
Great service, good prices, convenient location. I was booked to begin on a Sunday and they were super proactive in getting me set up before Sunday (when setup wouldn’t be possible). Walid was especially great esp in English(for me). He walked me through logging in & out, setting up the lock etc and was overall just pleasant and great.
WARNING!!! EDIT OCT 14th: The insurance appraiser came over 8 days ago to check the damaged unit and ruined goods. He counted all of the clothes and recognized the cost would run over the 2,000EUROS. He promised to send me an email of the assessed cost of dry cleaning but failed to do so. I tried contacting the unit about how to reach him: they gave me two bad emails and said that Rafik, the manager, no longer worked there. Worst Shurgard ever, unfriendly and unprofessional team, not possible to cancel the contract. A paper to stop the contract was signed at their office, but they lost it so that they kept charging. Highly recommend do NOT keep your things here, if you have to, remember to take photos of every paper and record your call. Because they can decline anything that are not in favour to them, and Shurgard doesn't have any client service to monitor each of their spots.
