Not a good experience. I arrived at 2:05 pm to find the waiting room packed with no seats available. My appointment was at 2:15 for a MRI. I was not seen until shortly after 4 and by the time they were done with me it was 4:45. I was told this was normal. Why schedule so many appointments if you can’t stay on schedule or even come close? Thankfully I did not have anywhere else to be or I would’ve had to make a choice to either skip my MRI or cancel whatever I had next. You need to do better.
I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent experience at your front desk. Specifically, the receptionist with gauges and long light reddish-brown hair could benefit from improvement in how she approaches and communicates with patients. I was redirected to your facility for a walk-in ultrasound. The issue wasn’t about being seen the same day—I understand that walk-ins may have to wait or may not always be accommodated immediately. Simon Med gets a 5 star from me. I especially want to acknowledge your receptionist/tech . Her name is Genesis. She was kind and patient. Went more than a mile to accommodate. I thanked her as my husband and I were having a very trying day..she helped to turn that around. Rare to have such a kind and friendly person ..my husband and I will use Simon more often. Also the radiologist was wonderful. Professional, friendly, and accommodating. Gave me a blanket when I said it was cold. Thank you …
I had a wonderful experience in getting my MRI. The nurse was so personable and kind in asking questions about my past. They made sure I was comfortable and didn’t rush me. Overall I would recommend SimonMed Avondale as a great place to go.
I had so much anxiety and apprehension about getting a mammogram because I heard how uncomfortable it was. Today I was able to put that anxiety was put to bed. Sandra the imaging tech who performed my mammogram today was so patient, professional, and kind all while explaining the why behind the things she was asking. I left in no pain and am genuinely thankful for her being so good.
