Incompetence!! I was to have an MRI of my head and they gave me a CT scan of my neck. I said “wasn’t I supposed to have an MRI” and she said, “no, that’s all.” 30 minutes later someone called while I was at the grocery store and made an appointment several days later for the MRI for my head. Get some good help.
SimonMed has to be one of the worst run companies I've ever experienced. After losing my first appointment, they wasted my time that day. They rescheduled for the next day, which they called to cancel that night. They have no integrity and deserve to go out of business. On the other hand, once they did get me in for me scan, the tech was professional and pleasant. They clearly have leadership issues, and their tools that run scheduling need to be simplified and bulletproof. This wasn't my first, second, or even third experie... read more
To start I was told I had to pay for the MRI because my insurance would not pay it I asked if he wanted to see my Medicare card he said no but I showed it anyway and had to pay nothing. After getting the MRI getting off the table was a little difficult not one time did anyone offer to help the response was take your time I felt the question was do you need help I am up in age and to me they were not professional
scheduling wrote down my right elbow, when it should have been my right hand and bicep. I had to wait one and a half hours before I was called back. my appointment was at 4:15 p.m. and I did not get done until 7:45 p.m. . it's a good thing I brought my order with me, from the doctor.
I have had numerous chest CTs. Been going to the Ahwatukee office - always overcrowded. The last time the tech was in a rush and didn’t seem to take enough time. Yesterday there was a mix-up on the authorization and they’d cancelled my appointment. Even after I had insurance letter approving, had phone call from Simon the day before and verified. The scheduler gave me the incorrect address to the Simon Med facility. I went to the address she gave me only to find out that my CT was scheduled at a different facility. Very disappointing.
When Simon Med called to make my appt., it was to be at 3:30. When they called the day before my appt., they told me it was at 2:30. When I questioned the time, they said that they had a new system and mistakes were being made. I thought the waiting room for the MRI was dirty and the leather chairs were ripped. Chairs were separated, temperature was taken, but no hand washing or hand sanitizer was required. Saw no sanitary methods used in the MRI room.
