First, I do want to give a big shout out to the compassionate, kind human who performed my thyroid ultrasound. I'm so sorry I've forgotten your name, but SimonMed San Mateo is so lucky to have you! Secondly and so unfortunately, the 2 rating is due to: *scheduling both of my appointments on the phone--The only option I was given--Took over 35 minutes. I would like to express my appreciation for the excellent service I received during my MRI and X-ray appointments at SimonMed. The receptionist, Dana, was exceptionally helpful and understanding, contributing to a positive experience. Given the busy nature of the clinic, I hope she is supported by additional staff to help manage the flow of patients effectively. Additionally, I was grateful for the friendly and professional attitude of everyone working at the MRI department and the X-ray technician.
Had to wait for my 1130 appointment behind another patient. The X-ray tech wasn't in the office and was told there were people waiting. While we (the first patient and myself) were waiting, another patient arrived. Had to go to the receptionist and tell her that the 11am and the 1130 (me) patients were waiting and another just joined us. Had to ask if I needed the X-ray shield to wear around my waist and the tech seemed annoyed that I asked for it. X-ray tech said it is low level and not necessary, but I asked again and... read more
Office intake girl pleasant - Staff need to be more helpful directing or taking client to the procedure rooms . Tech I had explained nothing and continued to have me wipe of the gel applied and at end seemed impatient when Doppler was not finding the locations prior to leaving me waiting for half hour and locked doors to try and find her . Terrible experience with this facility. Bad customer service. Delay tactics reading and sharing results. First they said the results will be available in 1-2 days, then they said 3 days. Then when I called again on the 3rd day to follow up they said in the next 24 hours. When the results were not available in 24 hours I called again and they said they’re going to email the physician but since it’s Saturday and Sunday they don’t except any response back until Monday which will be 7 days.
