The staff (George and a wonderful receptionist at the Irvine location) were amazing; however the process to make an appointment was abominable. All location numbers lead to an off-shore call center whose staff (I had 2 experiences) seem to know neither US Geography nor the offerings at each Simon location. My doctor recommended a coronary calcium scan and referred me to Simon whom I dutifully called to make an appointment. I would give 0 star if I could. had a really frustrating experience with this imaging center. The facility is rundown with long wait times. It took over 4 weeks to get the result of my MRI scan after multiple follow-ups. Yet when the report was available, it was not compared to prior images as requested. Multiple efforts were made to follow up again for the addendum and nothing. No one calls, no one follows up, and every time I try to reach someone, I either get ignored or told “someone will call you back” — which never happ... read more

I shouldn’t even be giving it a 1 star. I was a walk in appointment and came in at 10:20 AM and still haven’t been seen. It’s now 12:45 pm and I’ve waited for over 2 hrs and missed my doctors appointment because of it. Many people have gone ahead of me. Very unprofessional and no apologies of someone’s time or understanding. Completely unacceptable.

Long story, as short as I can make it... I needed to get an MRI done on my lower back however my primary doctor wants me to go through months of physical therapy first, before she will order my MRI. Instead of months of more pain, I called around to pay for an MRI out of pocket. I finally found SimonMed in Santa Ana who booked an appt with me after I explained that I am doing this privately, without a doctor's order. I spoke to them twice to reconfirm. The check-in folks were nice enough, but I was disappointed all the on-line forms I completed prior to the appointment weren't received by this facility location, so I had to re-do everything after my arrival. MRI technologists Mark and Andrea were great - gentle & kind. This location could use a deep cleaning of the floors, but the equipment was VERY clean.
