The location was very convenient. The checkin staff was very professional and friendly. Not sure why I had to pre-fill an online check-in form...then redo it on paper when I checked in (this is always strange to me when medical providers require this). My procedure happened on time and the technician was friendly, professional and efficient. I recommend SimonMed Imaging1
The facility and the staff are great. However, the scheduler was not, and I was told that "he works remotely, and you are not the first patient to encounter this problem:" There are three facilities in San Francisco, two of which are close together and convenient for me --- he scheduled me into the third location, which is the one that I definitely did not want; I was asking for a CT scan appointment and requested one of the other locations, which I thought he understood -- unfortunately, that facility doesn't offer CT sca... read more
I read all the bad reviews of this place before coming here (it was my only option for a timely CT heart scan). The receptionist really does sit in a closet but it’s not an issue. In contrast to the one star reviews, I had a great experience. The receptionist was kind and worked to solve my initial issue with my insurance. The receptionist had also called me the day before to make sure I brought the doctor’s order with me. The technician was professional. The staff especially the receptionist needs to learn to be kind & polite.Her attitude is very rude and discriminating. Also the pricing mentioned on the call and jn person are different. Be careful. They do not inform about receiving the Doctor’s order prior to the appointment. The center is clean.
I had a very negative experience: 1) the CT tech was sniffling the entire time and not wearing a mask and had to be quite close to me, 2) the tech told me he was using a much bigger needle than my normal blood draws (that’s scary to hear when I was already nervous!), 3) he used the arm I told him no one ever wants to use because it’s hard to find a vein 4) the IV really hurt and I said so but he ignored it until I spoke up again and he realized he missed the vein, 5) then he had to repeat the IV on the side I suggested he us... read more
