I am grateful for the equipment at SimonMed, but my experience with the team was disappointing due to unclear communication about patient expectations for the Clearly heart scan. I had to drive two hours each way on three separate occasions before I was finally able to complete the test. I was disappointed in the check in. I received a call the day before as a reminder for the appointment. I was given a price point of $135. When I went to check in I was told that the price point was 185. I showed the voicemail to the clerical person And she said it was their mistake. I asked to pay 135. She said no that was somebody else’s mistake. You’ll have to pay for the 185. I was really disappointed that I had to pay for their mistake. I especially want to thank Craig or Greg. I am sorry because I forget his name but he was the technician for my CT scan on 5/29/25. Very courteous, patient, professional and efficient. I am a healthcare worker, myself and I saw how he treated all the patients before me. He is great. This is a top-notch facility. I chose this facility specifically because my own patients have told me about the great care that they receive here. I will continue to refer my patients for their diagnostic needs to Simon Med. I had a really frustrating experience at the SimonMed Van Ness location when I went in for a CT coronary scan. When I arrived, they told me they didn’t have my insurance information on file and said they’d have to cancel my appointment—despite the fact that I’d already spent 30 minutes on the phone with them just to get it scheduled. I told them I was fine paying out of pocket and had my doctor’s order form with me. Parking a little difficult with a tall rig (local indoor garages limited to about 6'6"), but we found street parking a couple blocks uphill. Friendly staff, clean office, quick in/out for CT angiogram. Thanks!
