The Technician was wonderful! He told me what to expect during the MRI and covered me to stay warm during the process. He is friendly, considerate, and even though I could detect he had worked long hours, it didn’t stop him from putting the patient first. The process was not as long as I thought it would be. So grateful to Simon Med having professionals working for them! MM
I couldn’t get past scheduling. I wanted a SimonOne preventative healthcare scan. I realize it is not covered by insurance and I have no problem paying for the service. However, my family scheduled a get together on the date of my appointment, so I called in advance to reschedule. I believe the call center operator said her name was Tanya. The location was a little hard to find as it is fairly new and there was no signage from the road. Just head into the building and look for the name on the door. Was greeted efficiently and the tech was super nice for my MRI. Was in and out much faster than anticipated.
The scan was exactly as described the people were very nice. Unfortunately I arrived a half an hour early as scheduled and was sitting there for 1 hour and 25 minutes which was almost an hour past my appointment time. There needs to be a way to let people know that they are running behind so you don't have to sit down there for an extra hour and a half.
My MRI experience at the Prescott, AZ location was poor. The tech never introduced herself. She spoke in a monotone and sounded like she was bored, hated her job, and was reading directions from a script. My comfort on the table was never questioned. A pillow for my neck would have prevented the sore, stiff neck that resulted from the 40 minute procedure. It was not offered. She never described what to expect or what the experience would be like.
