This was my first full body scan and MRI. The technician that performed the service didn’t say six words to me to tell me what I was to expect other than to say stay still.. Really disappointed with the level of professionalism I would’ve expected her to tell me at least what I should expect from the experience. my wife and I had the same procedure done. The provider who went through my results was excellent. She really cared to make it personal and explain in details that I could understand. She was very knowledgeable and thorough. The actual imaging experience was less than perfect. They had issues with the machine. They had me in the imaging machine for a long period of time without communicating that something was wrong. What should’ve taken an hour took well over an hour and a half.
Pleasant staff that greeted me kindly after I arrived late following a tour-of-Prescott thinking the scan was at a different location. On that note, I would suggest updating the forms and text communication with the address and direct phone number of the MRI location making it easy to find. It was frustrating being in the car, trying to make a phone call to speak to someone, and having to go through a series of prompts. I am very appreciative of SimonMed providing a free MRI for teachers, so that I received excellent health information and data. Jennie Xu, who went over my results with me, was knowledgeable, thorough, and patient. However, the person who performed the MRI was brusque, insensitive, and treated me as less than human. I didn’t get her name, but I had my procedure done on January 23rd in Prescott, AZ. The MRI experience with Eric was excellent. I am assuming he got pictures that will help with evaluation. I would say the communication prior to the actual MRi was not very good. Access & specifics preparing for MRI were terrible. Once a person pays & has a date scheduled, it should be simple….NOT‼️
