We arrived here when it was cool dark and rainy on a late Sunday night. When we entered this home, I was immediately filled with a sense of coziness and a beautiful quaint home feeling from the inside. When we woke in the morning, we were greeted by the amazing views that changed our plans and we just wanted to spend more time exporing around here vs bar harbor! Couples Cove was perfect for our trip to Acadia. The cottage itself had everything we needed and the decor was so tastefully done. They provided a great book that had all the info we needed to have a great stay plus all the info on surrounding areas. The outside just left us speechless. Our point was to visit Acadia but we had such a hard time leaving this spectacular setting every morning. The owners provide wonderful seating areas to view the little bay we were on. Very nice property and very nice management and very nice view from the dining table and master bed room. Acadia National Park is like 15-20 minutes of a drive. It was like being at home. Everything that we required was there. Very clean house. The property is just 5 minutes of a drive from many restaurants. Keep it up and I will strongly recommend this property to anyone who has plans to stay in Ellsworth.
Enjoyed Seaside Cottage vacation just recently in May 2024 which was spectacular. I lucked out with glorious weather and the location on Union Bay just outside of Acadia NP is beautiful. The house is well maintained with all the amenities. Beautiful views from both the main house and the bedrooms. So, I'm ready to return in 2025!
