Excellent experience in every respect. Ashley was great to deal with and took the time to show me the different units so that I could determine which one I needed. Process to rent was quick and easy. Location is convenient and very well maintained and rates are competitive. Highly recommend Slate if you need to rent a storage unit.
Upon first impressions, the facility is very well laid out, it’s clean, and the 30’ unit I’m renting has two overhead doors, one on each end; GENIUS! Not to mention, they supply you with keyless padlocks, good if not better rates than competitors, and have all the security in place. I highly recommend this place!
Slate is a nice location with secure but easy access. Spots are super tight and pricey, however. If you have modern RV steps, you’ll never get in your rig with it in it’s spot if you have neighbors:( Rates went up considerably with talk of an RV dump and powered sights being added. Not yet, but there is an air fill station, which has been useful.
Slate is probably the nicest storage facility that I have used. I’m storing a 40’ travel trailer and it feels really safe and secure. Plenty of room to get around which isn’t usually the case with large trailers. We also rented a 10 x 10 storage unit last minute and the rental process is very easy. The facility must be fairly new, great location and very very clean and safe.
Storage area is nice and kept clean with very secure gates. Customer service is friendly. My only complaint is that prices were raised every 3 months or so. Rent for the unit I had went up by 1/2 in the several years renting. However I see they are renting new units at the original price to get customers in the door. Not a big fan of that.
