If there is anything that gives me anxiety, it is going to the dentist. Sleep Dentistry of Portland makes it feel like you are welcome no matter what level of care you need. They don’t down talk you as a lot of dentist that I have gone to in the past. They are super welcoming and very professional. I have recommended many people to go to this location as my experiences have always been top notch services and care!
I had to get my first ever crown put in and was nervous. Sleep Dentistry was great! Codi made me feel so comfortable. It was a quick and painless visit. I highly recommend them and this location!
I had a very disappointing experience at Sleep Dentistry of Portland. I went in with an infected tooth that needed urgent attention, but instead of focusing on the problem at hand, they tried to make me pay for a full-mouth X-ray instead of just the area that needed treatment. The dentist then referred me to a specialist but sent me home without any pain medication or antibiotics, claiming she couldn’t confirm my pain was from an infection just because I could still touch the area with my tongue. ***NEGATIVE STARS for DR. PARKER*** (The rest of the staff was great) I have been in the dental field for over a decade. I had a root canaled tooth for 20 years and it was a matter of time before needing it extracted. When the time came for It to happen, I went to sleep dentistry, and saw Dr. Parker for the extraction and bone graft with the hopes for an implant in my future. The apt was fine. I came to this place because it was supposed to be a more relaxing experience for dentist anxiety, but now my anxiety is 1000 times worse because they gave me a crown, and then told me I needed two more. I was suspicious about this because I had a cleaning 6 months prior at a different dentist and they told me I only had one cavity that needed filling, so I went back to that dentist and they said that not only did I not need two more crowns, I didn’t even need the crown Sleep Dentistry gave me (based on their x-ray).
