I'd never recommend anyone to build with smith douglas. The communication, the quality of work and the building process is horrible.
The entire experience was stressful and felt like pulling teeth
The quality of the workmanship is poor. The warranty process is extremely subpar and lacking, designed to not provide solutions to problems but rather provide bandaid fixes to problems that require proper attention.
I absolutely love my Smith Douglas Home
I just wish they had a better system. I have MS and am barely walking. I put down $11,000 on this house. I had a stroke. I don’t think the owner of the company would appreciate what they have done to me. The hospital would have written them a letter. I am happy with my house, but it’s falling apart.

When first looking at building in Jackson Farm, I was amazed at the apparent quality of the construction and materials used. Now that I am a homeowner in this neighborhood, I am very displeased with the apparent "time is money" attitude that these homes are built by. you can find my full list of complaints further into this survey
Builder is not very customer service oriented. Very rigid and self serving.
The construction side made it very hard for me to want to recommend.
