The real estate agent was not well trained in the product being offered. Many of the upgrades we wanted were never offered. It was a rush job to get us to buy. They didn't know how to write the contract. There were a lot of mistakes that had to be corrected. The builder was not forthcoming with problems, and with their ability to finish the project on time. There is very little transparency with Smith Douglas in regards to the buyer builder relationship.

Home quality is low, and coverage with warranty is poor.

Change the quality process. Hire a quality team to walk house and point out things so they can be fixed before you move in and not be considered a warranty.

The point of contact for Smith Douglas Homes that showcases the model homes gives out false information about their policies and procedures.

Not at this time. Although I love the floor plans and many of the homes' features, I have had a less than stellar experience after putting so much money into getting into my home and making sure that the home is built/repaired to Smith Douglas standards.
