The sales people are great and that is where you get suckered. After that the whole process was horrible. This was our first home and we have buyers remorse. There is quality issues with everything in this house just horrible. Faucets are not put on correctly, moldings are cracking already and it's only been 1 month in the house. Repeatedly had to ask for things to be fixed during the build process, and after walkthroughs.
The builder representative Bobby did not communicate anything to us the entire time even though we had need asked to be kept in the look multiple times. He told us how things would be at our first meeting and nothing stuck to what he said. I now have a terrible yard that is washing away and they aren’t willing to correct it. There are multiple spots on our walls where the nails in the wall are still visible under the paint as well as many rough patches on every wall in the house and the seams of the carpet are visible. The plug on the outside of our house doesn’t work and during our blue tape walk we had an extreme number of problems that needed to be fixed. Some of them were addressed after my realtor had to reach out to the builder multiple times for them to come back into our home and fix the issues after we’d already moved in
The way my first time home buying experience went left a bad taste in my mouth. How I and my realtor was ignored is inexcusable. If it wasn’t for Sherry Richardson (Felton Walk) I would’ve closed.
