They made promises in the pre walk. It took three months for them to respond.
Dissatisfied with several explanation given by construction manager (Mike) regarding various issues identified with house during home inspection
The sales process went smooth and the salesperson was nice. During the building process it felt like they cut a lot of corners. There were a lot of things I had to go back and fix personally.
I will recommend with a note saying that "Smith Douglas sells unusable land (you never use it) along with new home"
I would not recommend them because what they say to you in front of you when you are about to close, compared to after, is totally different when you have an issue.
Has to be the worst builder in the area. Unable to manage a schedule or provide realistic expectations. Communication responses were extremely slow, always needing follow up emails and calls to get answers. The quality of workmanship is subpar - I will be submitting warranty claims every week.
