Quality of construction does not match the price point
There is a leak in the garbage disposal. have reported this to the company. I have not There are small details that I have noticed.
The house that was built for us was either done so quick that the builders didn't care about Quality or the builders really just don't care about Quality. There are several details that you don't notice in a walk through but are apparent after looking. The land the house was built on is terrible, we are basically in a bowl.
I went into my home buying experience singing your praises but was sadly disappointed with overall experience and outcome.
Due to the continuous changing of plans, the lack of communication throughout as far as me requesting certain things. There were some drainage issues that have not been resolved yet.
House wasn’t cleaned when we moved in. Also we have been here 4 weeks and still don’t have internet and cable. Lines were not run . Spectrum said it should have been done before house was started. We are still waiting.
We were mislead on the lot for this house - we were told we could have a large open back yard for our fence and dog, Too many trees were left up and no one from Smith Douglas would do anything to remove unwanted trees. Even as I offered to help with the expense. I had to cut down many trees and remove old trees that were left behind from the septic clearing.
