The home building process was very smooth without major issues. Communication with the whole team was excellent. Good quality home with the use of quality materials and products.

Yes definitely, it is a great company , we moved in a month ago and we love the layout of our home , staff and customer service very pleasant and quick respond to our questions and concerns.
There are some things that Smith Douglas did wonderfully. There are other things that they either ignored entirely or messed up. One of our guest bedrooms was not built according to the blueprints and multiple hallway walls were built with curves in them. I would recommend Smith Douglas to someone who wants a new home built at a reasonable price, but if they want their desires followed through exactly, I would choose a builder that charges more and addresses customer concerns during the building process.
The overall process was reassuring that we were making the right decision by choosing Smith Douglas Homes over other builders. They provide great customer service and incentives.
We liked the entire process. The process was pretty smooth. We didn't have any real problems. We noticed the other day, that we think we got the wrong color carpet. It was very bright at the location where we picked it out. We thought we picked a gray. It is something we should have noticed when we did the walkthrough. We can't fault anyone for that.
