I visited SoCal Eye for the first time and was very impressed with the staff and Dr. Clay. I had a full eye exam and it was determined I qualify for cataract surgery in both eyes. Dr. Clay explained the procedure and types of lens plus cost if opting for premium. She also found a slight right eye problem that requires a Retina specialist. After spending lots of time going through the reviews of all the eye doctors in my area, I went to the So Cal Eye office in Los Alamitos for an eye exam and possible cataract surgery. I saw Dr Hartman and all I can say is he is just the BEST doctor I have ever seen!! Friendly, compassionite and very understanding and explains everything clearly and concise. He treated me just like a family member or best friend. I ended up not needing eye surgery, which is always great. I am a LIFELONG patient of Dr Hartman.

Dr. Carl Hartman and his staff are just the best! Knowledgeable, kind, professional, and with a good sense of humor, their staff took excellent care of my daughter’s eye condition. Dr. Hartman worked with us, listened, connected us with the right people, and made sure that my daughter was well taken care of. Dr. Trinh Nhu performed the procedure and was an absolute ace from pre-op to follow up. I can’t say enough great things about SoCal Eye.

From scheduling my appointment until I left, every step of the process was amazing. The staff were helpful and explained everything to me. They made me feel comfortable and provided me all the information that I needed to make a sound decision

I have been a patient of So Cal Eye for years starting when my children were young and also needed eye care! During my recent appointment my annual testing was professionally performed by their medical team.Following that, I met with my eye specialist, Dr. Ling who I have been going to since he joined So Cal Eye. It is a pleasure to have him as my doctor as he is easy to talk to and answers any concerns or questions.
