Stayed for a wedding at the Art Institute and had a phenomenal stay. Such an easy walk. The rooms are modern and clean. It's all self-check in/out so be aware of that but they do have someone on call that can assist whenever needed. Loved the modern rooms and full kitchens. We saved money by cooking rather than eating out.
This place is a SCAM! Do Not Waste Your Time! I would give negative five stars if I could. And call the police on these people (which I'm seriously thinking of doing). The building is a run down apartment building in a seedy part of town that looks very unsafe. The side doors were chained and the front door was locked and inside was dark. A TOTAL SCAM! For God's sake DO NOT PREPAY! Thank God I didn't. It would have just like throwing cash out of the window with no hope of return.
DO NOT BOOK THIS BAIT AND SWITCH. The photos of the rooms and the amenities (Malin + Goetz products? More like a 3-1 Arm & Hammer that another guest probably left behind) are fraudulent. The room was in terrible condition and dirty (dust bunnies, hair, cobwebs, parts of doors and walls missing boarded up), the microwave didn't cook food properly, the towels were mismatched and so worn that Goodwill would reject them, I couldn't connect to the wifi, the shower had two options - freezing cold or scalding hot, something in the... read more
Terrible place to stay. It’s a waste of money. The whole place smells like pee. And when we got unit our room it said it has a king size mattress and sleeper sofa all it had was a double mattress with no bed sheets no pillows and no blankets. We checked ever closet and there was nothing don’t go here
The worst ever!!! Dirty. smelled like sewage..walls and doors are black ...very very dim lighting you have to use your phone light to see where your going ...our room lock code when opened with code sent to us didn't have a key in it ..this is no hotel it's a boarding house ...SCAM RUN AWAY
