DONT RENT HERE!!! I chose this place as thy offered a 3 month move in special. When I got the bill- they refused to honor it and said that price was on their old website. False advertising and an outdated website isn’t the customers responsibility. When moving in, I noticed my unit was in-front of a mold restoration company dumpster. Within two weeks, I noticed some items in my unit starting to mold (I’ve never had this issue) so I asked to move units. They said sure and would prorate my rent for the inconvenience. Ive been with South Valley Storage for just about 3 years and they have always been quick and courteous when responding to any request about the facility or your unit.
I called one day just to inquire about storage options. Then they followed up with me the very next day and I kinda knew I'd go with them because they made it so easy to just get started right away.
Overall very positive experience and the owner was friendly and helpful. There’s a couple reasons I put 4 stars rather than 5. I made a reservation for a unit online which was convenient, however the day I got to the facility it was really confusing. I never received any move in instructions or any type of welcome email and the only email I got confirmed my reservation but it said to arrive with my ID and check in with staff. I've been keeping my things at South Valley Mini Storage for almost a year!! The owners are always available to help you out and answer any concerns that might arise. I feel my things are safe at South Valley Mini Storage. The only thing that I wish for would be to have the units on temperature control and that there would be no gap in between the units near the bottom of my storage unit.
