Well other reviews don't lie. Called this place at 3pm (they close at 10) and they said you'll need to come back tomorrow for an oil change because the guy we have here doesn't know how to do it. I mean... An oil change.. seriously? How can you be hired to work for any shop if you can't even do an oil change? A 5 year old can be taught how to do an oil change. If I'm paying a "professional" $150 dollars an hour I expect them to be able to do something a 5 year old could do. Wtf.. just incompetence at that point.
Called in at 9:40pm to get my wheel re torqued. No answer. Got to their shop at 9:50pm and they were closed already. Says they close at 10pm.
The lady who answers phone calls doesn't know/check the availability of the tire in their shop, she said we will have to come and ask the service guys. This is not how it works, the person who is on the phone calls has to have full information in their hand.
$324.90 just in labor to change a steer tire on their parking lot. The tire was off the wheel, so it couldn't move a couple hundred feet to their bay. They have to change a service call anytime their service truck moves according to corporate, which is what we were told. I should have used a regular tire road service that quoted a little over a hundred for a service call. I have used STM quite a few times. I can't believe this location gouges truckers because they are convenient at the truck stop. I will never use STM again.... read more
Asked to borrow tool for a few minutes. Told them I could leave my license as collateral. They said no. I showed them a nut that needed to be tightened to induction piping. They wanted to charge me an hour worth of work. They said “we usually charge 2 but I will charge you for 1”. Laughable. Thieves!!!!
