“Wildly Overpriced & Misleading — Beware” I just had one of my drivers stop at Southern Tire Mart in Dandridge, TN for two trailer tires. We asked for used tires, were told they had them — then suddenly they “only had new,” and claimed the new price was the same as used. That alone was questionable, but the final total of $955.67 for TWO trailer tires was absolutely shocking. Do not go here after hours the mechanic was still there i nerfed a tire they said its considered a road call wanted to charge 1100-1200 though i was at the shop save your money go to Loves 15 miles east on I40 towards NC
If you have a company that has 50 or less trucks, do not call these people for any road service. You will get ripped off because they prey on smaller companies. I had a messed up air stem and needed air and someone with fresh eyes to look at it. The service gentleman looked at it and tightened up the air stem and aired up the wheel.( I would have limped, but it was a steer and completely flat). I was charged and not by the driver $600.00. The service was fast and efficient. The mechanic was very knowledgeable and demonstrated excellent communication throughout the process. I highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for professional and reliable service.
If I was the owner of this place I'd be pissed. These weekend guys don't want to work!! They quoted me one steer at $800 295/75r22.5 and said it's the only one they have. When there was an off brand right next to it. They also quoted me 100 bucks on a truck inspection and 150 on a trailer inspection. And said there was no one to do an oil change.
