Not only is the SPCA a beautiful facility with welcoming staff to adopt a pet, but the birthday party option is amazing! We recently had my 8 year old daughter's birthday at the SPCA and it was the absolute best! The girls had a blast making treats, toys and visiting with the animals. The staff was beyond friendly, helpful and truly made us feel welcomed. We highly recommend the SPCA!
We got our new puppy from this wonderful place just about 6 weeks ago. The facilities are very clean and seem to be run very well. All the workers and volunteers I interacted with were nothing but sweet, friendly and informative. I wish I could have taken more pets home with me because it does break my heart to see that so many pets need loving homes. If you are thinking about adopting a pet, I strongly suggest coming here. We just adopted a dog from the SPCA three weeks ago and it was a terrific experience. Lots of support provided. We visited several times and fell in love with our pup and now he’s part of the family. Highly recommend the SPCA!
We had a great experience at SPCA Westchester. We had found several dogs we might be interested in. The Adoption Counselor took time to understand what we were looking for and was able to provide great detail (both medical and behavioral ) on each of the dogs we inquired about. We were then taken on a tour to look at the available dogs and choose which to meet. We found our new family member and were thrilled to bring her home. This adoption experience was the best I’ve encountered. Firstly, the building is state of the art and all animals are treated with the utmost care. Secondly, the application process is seamless. We got our little senior Pekingese the same day—in and out of the building (application, meet & greet, questions, payment, etc) within 2hrs.
