Had my first appointment with Dr. Barnhill, for a checkup on my knee condition. After X-rays, Dr. Barnhill explained my condition and said we would make whatever future treatment decisions together. Good news, for now, I'm good to go for another few. Dr. Barnhill is very thorough and direct. I recommend highly. Should add, he's very tall.
Spencer is an exceptional young surgeon with superb training. He doesn’t “fall far from the tree” as his father is one of the best orthopedic surgeons in the Midwest (Missouri). He is compassionate and committed to the best outcomes for patients. He truly cares for the well being of each patient and is “in this field for ALL the right reasons!”
Context of this review, I went in for a second opinion. Dr. Barnhill was attentive, knowledgeable, patient, thorough, genuinely concerned (eye contact), was not in a hurry, answered all of my questions. and when wrapping the consultation said, "I will take care of you". I would highly recommend scheduling a second opinion for your future hip replacement. Great Dr I wish I had met him sooner. Sweet smart guy. I felt very secure on all his feed back about my left knee. He was honest & straight forward which I look for in any specialist. After first meeting Dr. Barnhill in December 2024, I immediately decided to have my hip replacement, two weeks later.
