Ive had the BEST experience with this dental office. First, they provide the EASIEST way to set an appointment- no calls needed- just book online!! Then after booking, they email you a link to fill out a form (new patient) to speed up registration process, instead of filling it out in person. When we arrived, we just gave them our name and THAT'S IT. Few minutes later, we were seen. The patient was my 3 year old - they made her first experience a good one as they were kind and gentle. I have never been in a dentist office that so unprofessional in my life. One of the dental techs had a scarf on her head with rollers and her hair. The other dental tech was on the phone showing the another dental tech pictures and chatting. The front of the office needs to be updated by decor and furniture. It is supposed to be a place for children and adults but it's not warm and inviting. My daughter needed special assistance, and April was absolutely amazing. She spoke to her so kindly and kept her calm throughout the entire experience. We truly appreciated her patience, compassion, and support. She was wonderful!
Where do I begin...? First off scheduling appointments aren't taken lightly in my situation because I don't have my own transportation to my children's appointments. I cannot just drive over any time the Portsmouth office reschedules, cancels appointments, this has happened to three times since my kids have been seen here in May. I am very happy with Spencer Dental. I needed a tooth pulled. They are providers for my dental coverage. I stopped by to speak with them about my dental needs. They checked my insurance, made me an appointment, and Dr Boice was excellent. No problems. I highly recommend this office. I went to the office on Victory Blvd in Portsmouth, VA.
