My cat Toby suffers from UTI’s and I have had him out there twice in the last two months (cost me about $600 for these two visits, he has antibiotics for a few days and then he’s fine) Well I raced out there on my lunch break today to grab some antibiotics as poor thing has a UTI again only to be told by the extremely rude person on reception that I’d have to bring him in to get antibiotics- just so they can squeeze a few more hundred $$ out of me that I can’t afford. After years if customer loyalty, 2 litters and referring buyers to your clinic I assumed I would be able to count on my CHOSEN vet particularly in an emergency situation. Unfortunately when we needed a vet in an emergency situation we were told they couldn't fit us in until Tuesday (NEXT WEEK). 🙄 Customer loyalty and animal welfare clearly take a back seat to trading hours. I wouldn't recommend this Vet and will never utilise the services again. disgusted is an understatement and they clearly
Unfortunately my visit at Spreyton was not satisfactory - we booked an appointment for my rabbit who was lethargic, had runny poos and was very out of sorts. She was cleaned up instead of being checked over, no tummy feel or temperature check. We were just told to keep giving her fresh veggies. Thankfully another vet (not at spreyton vet) properly checked her over and she is now having surgery to have a (almost) tennis ball sized mass removed from her stomach near her intestines.
Very negligent and expensive for nothing. After a couple of thousands spent we decided to get a second opinion where we were told after an x ray the damage was to extensive and if this X-ray had of been done earlier by the Spreyton vet this may have been avoided or saved us much of our money. Overall over priced and appear negligent in diagnosis.
