The facility is at a new location as of July 2019. We, as clients, have put up with a lot in the past 5 years here. This includes changing of ownership a couple times- which prompted massive staff turnovers (including a stretch of new Clinical Directors every 6 months to a year for a few years... You do have to put up with a lot of things like payments not being taken and put off then expecting it the week after if going once a week for example. They don't like giving receipts because its too much work at times (not really obviously) so if you don't need a receipt then you can pay...at times. They do go above and beyond to get you admitted. Couldn't get take homes because I did not have a counselor because they constantly have a quick turnover of staff so that impacts the stability of your treatment if you are seriou... read more

The program can be very good however there doesn't seem to be much effort from the staff to get people to detox from methadone at any point. I mean why does someone need to be on methadone for 2 years? Especially at an extremely high dose? Some of the staff are very snotty (well 1 burse in particular) but most are nice and caring. They don't fully explain what's expected of you however. After month of being there they tell me I have to do 4-6 hours of counseling a month. The clinic is under new management. He's changed so much the clinic , it is much better. He truly cares about the clients . Now there are some employees that definitely not be working in addiction clinic. There so rude , I have actually caught several degrading clients to each other . The head of nursing is the worst . I have heard so many complaints about her, even from staff . I really think she should b more professional.Theres presently 15 councilors, who are wonderful. Methadone Clinic Springfield CTC formerly Habit OPCO gives a take home bottle to every patient. Attend a few orientations and even if you have a positive drug screen you can at least one bottle!
