I have been a customer here for over 10 years. I send everyone I know that needs services here. I am blown away at the lack of service we received tonight, or did not receive. (2/24/2018) I persuaded my friend to come here due to the history I've had with St. Francis. Her Bichon either ate something that is blocking her intestines, or ate poison. My experience wasn't so great here. First off the staff wasn't all that friendly . Second communication was terrible. We had called before going and then when we got there the receptionist placed us in a room to wait for the doctor. About 30 minutes later an assistant came to notify us that the doctor was in surgery and the wait time would be 4 hours and basically shrugged us off because what they thought he had wasn't life threatening. Took my son's bird there a few years back. They looked at him, said he looks sick and put fluid under his wings, told us he should be fine. The bird passed away less than 24 hours later. Today, my son's bunny was having trouble breathing. We rushed him there because they deal with exotic animals. When we got there I told them the bunny was having trouble breathing. Horrible, place don't take your animals there. They charge more then quoted and don't call to get permission. My grandsons puppy was attacked by a pit bull, I paid 1900.00 for the days icu, then they charged 500 more and we ended up putting her to sleep. They have no integrity, should have been real about the situation. They even charge more money to put her down for us to be in the room. Wth.
Carded an 90 year old to make sure he was eligible for senior discount and sat us in s blasting hot exam room for 45 minutes before we saw someone. No impressed and more likely won't return
Our family dog of 17 yrs. Passed away just about a week ago , the Dr. Himself was very sincere but the rest of the staff was very disrespectful and cold I will never take any of my animals here again!
I've been a client here almost four years. I noticed things were not quite like they used to be. The final thing was when my daughter picked up the prescription for my dog's eyes. It has always been filled here for me. This time we were given a paper prescription and told to fill it at a regular pharmacy. What? Why? We've been taking our cat since the end of last year. Haven't had much of a problem since of late. The last time I refilled my cat's medication, I called it in they said they would refill it. A week went by and I never got a call saying it was ready so I went in. I asked to pick up and they told me it was never sent for a refill but were able fill it right then.
