My home care nurse Sabrina is just exceptional! On a scale of 1 to 10 she's an 11. She has the ability to look at what to me is a complex issue regarding my health care and immediately comes up with an explanation and when needed a solution to the problem. Sharon Topley and Michelle Swartz provided excellent at home care for my husband, Scott. Both were kind, encouraging and patient. They were always on time for all appointments and explained exactly what they were going to do and why. Sharon and Michelle were professional, approachable, and a pleasure to have them in our home.
My sister, recently diagnosed with dementia/Alzheimer's and had a couple bad falls and it was suggested that she go to rehab/ nursing home for a while. I had the option of refusing a rehab facility and have home health care. What a blessing!! They were wonderful with her and did anything and everything to help her and me, as her care giver. We are so grateful we had the St. Marys home PT team during our recovery process. Andre especially was not only professional and knowledgeable, but also genuinely caring and supportive every step of the way. He always took the time to address our concerns and brought such a positive presence into our home. The kindness and dedication truly meant a lot to our family.
The nurses in general seem to be great. But they need to find a way and follow thru with coverage for when your regular nurse is off a day( which they are entitled to). My nurse was off and a sub. Never called. I called left message for the supervisor never called me back. They are always busy or in a meeting. I called the next day- I was told the area nurse would call me.
