I had an appointment at the OBGYN office next door and at that morning the person who collected blood work for the pregnancy glucose test at the OBGYN office was not in. They asked that I went next door to this lab to do the 1 hour glucose test, which is totally fine. It sounded like the lab staff had never heard of such test. I haven't even seen a medical professional yet, and I'm put off. 2215 Burdette Ave. Is the Labs address. It's also the address of Samaritan Hospital. No signage indicating where the lab is located, so I call - twice. The first time no one answers. Then I get somebody who tells me "go in the hospital Main entrance. The hospital information lady says go down the hallway and take the first right and then take the next right and you'll be "right around there". again, NO SIGNAGE!!! They never have any problem getting blood from my difficult veins . Very skilled phlebotomy staff. In and out very quick.
Get your lab work somewhere else. I had an 8am appointment and still hadn't been called for a blood draw after 9am. I finally walked out when someone who arrived 40 minutes after me got called in. Also, the woman claimed she was working alone, which for peak lab hours seems like an awful employee scheduling job. I will NEVER set foot in this building again.
i haven’t been here in a little while but i had to bring my son here (1m-3m old) for weekly then biweekly testing. the ladies at this location are all amazing. but julie is by far the best at poking babies and is super gentle and caring. will only ever go here for blood work. there is usually a bit of a wait but it’s worth it for the quality care you get
