This company is top heavy and doesn’t care about their customers. The only employees that care are the installers and the customer service rep at the local office. The Wisconsin rep, head office people, even corporate couldn’t care less about the customer. Did a kitchen remodel in 2023. I had Stanek windows install in two previous residences and was very pleased with the install and the few minor service requests afterwards. One of the window lock stops broke and then sent a new one. Now to the current install. Had the installation done in February Or March of this year. Install crew was from Chicago area. Worked very hard to get the job done. Now as the Winter of 2023/24 begins, I have condensation in all the windows. UPDATE - We emailed Stanek Windows as noted in the owner's response....as expected, we received no reply. I stand by my original review. They replaced our front and rear storm door and screen door. Paid approximately $9,000 total and am very upset by the poor quality of the materials. Front door work ....I have no complaints (yet), but it is only about 1 year old and doesn't take on the elements as it is inside a breeze way. I have had a broken window for about four months. It won’t move, open or anything. I called and spoke with someone who took down my info and saw my 20+ year history as a customer with over 17 windows purchased and said the repair tech would reach out to me by the next day. Nothing. Then, I call three more times, and each time no live person but a auto attendant directed me to an extension for repairs and service and I again left my information and still NOTHING. What a disappointment. We were so pleased with the quality of our first window and the excellent installation, that we ordered two more large windows. This contractor is owned by the Stanek Window Company which is headquartered in Macedonia Ohio. They manufacture the windows and rely on the local representative to arrange installation.
