Dr Hoff is very kind and smart. She truly takes time and listens. She has even called me on her day off to see how I was feeling. Dr Hoff has a heart of gold!!
I transferred my care to dr. Hoff at the urging of a family member who couldn’t say enough good things about her. Unfortunately my experience has been the complete opposite. I have been without blood pressure meds for over a week on multiple occasions because she doesn’t respond to request from the pharmacy. She frequently cancels appointments then refuses to fill my meds because I haven’t been in to see her as a result of her cancellation. Dr. Hoff is unprofessional and demeaning. From casually throwing around the name of a disease without a documented diagnosis or prior discussion about symptoms, to prescribing medications without the full picture, to guilting her patients for asking questions (the list could go on, but I'm tired), it has been a stressful experience for my family with Dr. Hoff. Due to the doctor's own medical issues - not able to provide care for current patients. She was suppose to be monitoring our family member's progress in skilled care - our family member experienced issues with over medication, lack of medical supervision and general disregard for her medical care. When another family member approached her with concerns - she was dismissive and unprofessional.
