I was referred to this provider through my primary care physician and, unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. From our first session, I found the therapist to be cold and lacking compassion. While I understand the initial appointment is usually for intake, but there was no warmth and certainly no sense of compassion. Virtual visit. No introduction. No explanation of what to expect or the purpose of the questions. The expectation of vulnerability and having to answer painful questions when there's no explanation or basic decent bedside manner of who you are is unprofessional, retraumatizing, and if this is how this organization operates then it also is contributing to mental health decline.
