When facing a major surgery there are always a million questions to be asked. From the first appointment with Dr. Southerland thru surgery he and his staff were there to support me. They give you a great handbook of expectations, held a step by step on-line clinic and you leave the surgery center equipped to succeed. In addition they are there to answer questions along the way. Dr. Sutherland is one of those rare physicians who combines exceptional skill with genuine compassion. He took the time to listen carefully to my history and really see the whole picture, not just the surface issue. I've worked with several doctors at Rebound. All of them, excellent with patient communications and overall concern for the health and comfort of their patients which would be me in this case. Communication was great, mainly in layman's terms. Which I appreciate very much. Dr. Sutherland always has a smile on his face which makes me feel very comfortable. I had my surgery scheduled with another surgeon, but at the e last minute he was unable to do it. Dr. Southerland reviewed my case and was able to perform my operation. I’m sure my scheduled surgeon was more than capable, but I could not be happier with my experience. In addition to him being experienced and doing a fantastic job, he is also kind and answered any questions I had. I think Dr. Sutherland is an awesome surgeon that truly cares for his patients. He did an excellent job on my hip. He knows what he is doing. Easy to talk to and patient in explaining surgical procedure. Good sense of humor
