I suffer from major treatment resistant depression. He always listens & takes my suggestions into consideration. I use the patient portal & he always responds. Very pleased with Dr. Shevitz but their billing department needs work. Don’t give credit card for them to keep on file. I’ve had mine taken off & pay by bills as statements are received, if correct.
I suffer from major depression and anxiety. In the past 24 years I’ve seen many psychiatrists (due to moving) & hospitalized once due to treatment resistant. Dr. Shevitz listens & takes my suggestions seriously. I’ve been seeing Dr. Shevitz over 2 years & highly recommend him I must also say if you are not comfortable with your psychiatrist, search for a new one. You must be comfortable & open with your doctor.
Very concervative. Hesitant to give or adjust medications.
