We recently used Stewart Title for a residential refinance and unfortunately we cannot recommend them or use their services again. From the start to finish they made errors that resulted not only taking up our limited personal time to help correct, they also reversed a credit card payoff without our knowledge or consent. Heidi Lloyd deliberately delayed the Closing of my home sale, presenting multiple subterfuse techniques by requiring me to resubmit documentation for already accepted and approved documents. Additionally, she violated the Fair Housing Act by repeatedly requesting verification of my Living Status (alone vs co-habitation).
