When you purchase insurance it’s something you hope you will never need but when the unforeseen happens you expect the policy to provide the necessary coverage. I just LOVE using Stewart Title Insurance (if not exclusively if we can). I am in Calgary and our representative Brent Cooper is just so hands-on and ALWAYS available. If for any reason, which is almost never, a file is flagged, I email Brent for help and he is already emailing/phoning/assisting me and whomever else to ensure the policy is completed very fast. We used Stewart Title for title insurance on our cottage. We purchased the Gold Policy and access was included in the policy. When we sold the cottage, the access clause had mistakenly been removed, apparently when we purchased the road allowance. Stewart Title was quick to find a loop hole to decline coverage.
