Liz F. was truly exceptional. Despite her role as a third-party neutral and the loan issue not falling directly under her responsibility, she went above and beyond to assist me. I was incredibly grateful for her patience and dedication. She even waited on hold with me to ensure my problem was resolved, which was far beyond what was expected of her.
I do not recommend this company. It took more than one week after my loan funded for them to pay off my previous lender. In addition the money sent to pay off my original loan was short several hundred dollars. To date I am still waiting to find out where is the rest of my escrow. No one from this branch can tell me how much escrow they sent to new lender. The new lenders escrow does not match the escrow detailed in my closing docs. Again save yourself the stress and hassle and go with another title closing company.
After going through dozens of transactions in Southern California during the past 12 years, I ended up thinking all escrow and title companies are the same; slow, careless and with random fee schedules that they adjust only if you get angry. Well, Jade Burrell (and Cindy Fern before her from this same branch) made me change my mind. Stewart Title company is the best, I work with many title company and with Stewart title company i give 10 stars, I have the best experience with them. Dont send your business here! I am a lender and I requested the opening of title on a loan and they forwarded my email to their preferred lender to try and take the deal from me then refused to work with my bank. This is so blantally illegal I cant imagine what else they do. After seeing the other reviews I am not surprised. BEWARE!
