Stonecreek has The Best happy hours! Half/price bottles of wine on Mondays, and h/p Martinis on Wednesdays just can't be beat! Food is mediocre but drinks, staff, nice bar and location keep me coming back every time!
We took our parents to Stone Creek last night for their 49th wedding anniversary and while the food was mediocre the service was terrible. We chose Stone Creek because it appeared to be a nice upscale restaurant and was close to where my parents live. My wife and I drove up from Louisville and met my parents at the restaurant where we were greeted by a pleasant receptionist who took us to our table. Decent Food. Cold Service. Teenagers running the front.. Literally, snobbish teenagers, (with braces) run the front, and greet customers. Though I would hope for less attitude. I imagine at some High schools in town this would be expected/acceptable attitude. Our waitress was dismissive, and cold. I get more sincere customer service at a Jersey Mike's. Stone Creek in Montgomery, OH -- A great dining experience. Great atmosphere. Wonderful food satisfying meat eaters and vegetarians. The spinach artichoke dip was the best I've ever had. The marinated tofu surrounded by carrots, broccoli, zucchini, butternut squash-wild mushroom wellington topped with onion straws. Delicious! Enough to bring home. Great service. Convenient parking
Disappointing. Waited for quite some time at the hostess stand before I was greeted. Floor needed sweeping, lots of crumbs etc under tables. Server never checked after I was served my food, which by the way was over salted and lacked flavor.
