So, my 1st experience was awful. First, I ordered a water with lemons, Angie brought out water no lemon, what ever no biggie. Then, ordered onion petals for an app. As she brought it out I saw her take one out of the bowl and eat it, and continued to talk to us with OUR food in HER mouth. Thennnn, she acted appalled when we asked to split a salad with our meal. Then I found a hair in my food. Stone Summit Wentzville. Well all I can say is if your wanting a good meal, your better off with Burger King. They messed my chicken sophia up so bad I couldn't even eat it after it had gone back. My drink that I had 2x's before dinner came as WATER.. yes just WATER the 3rd time ...cranberries and all...Daves birthday dinner was well done not medium rare and by this time we were sacred to send anything back. Gave Stone Summit a try. Unfortunately, my mistake, I didn't make reservations. And was told it would be an hour and half wait for two. So it's a good idea to call ahead. But with that being said we decided to sit at the bar. After sitting there waiting for over 20 mins, all while making eye contact with three different bar tenders, I finally asked for two food menus. went for my birthday dinner with 2 other couples....... the service was lacking in a big way. Totally disappointed. We chose this restaurant because my husband had such an enjoyable experience for his birthday in October. Definitely didn't have that tonight. Not sure I will ever go back...... sad

Just left.. Sat at the bar, service was awful. Waited forever to get served, waited a long time to take our food order. Food dropped off with nothing after. Luckily we had a bottle of wine so never had to wait for refills. Mahi was overcooked and very dry but we were never asked how are meal was. No dinner rolls, no offer for dessert. Just dropped off the check and that was it. Literally no interaction from the bartender (Blonde with glasses). Wasn't as good as I would expect a Steak House to be, ribeye was mediocre with to much rub. Pan seared scallops were hardly seared and drowned in oil

We tried stone summit on Sept 16 .Had to wait 30 minutes for a table .There were 5 of us .in all my years of eating out this was the worst service and food I have ever experienced. we ordered our drinks and an appetizer .That took over 20 minutes . We then ordered our meals. That was 45 minutes. Our waitress seemed confused the whole time she dealt with us. The food was less than desirable.My wifes meatloaf came out cold and burned to a crisp on the bottom..My macaroni and cheese dinner was bland .My dinner salad came with ... read more
