I had a storage unit at Storage Star Sonoma for 4 years. I would definitely recommend it. The price was reasonable. The location was very convenient and close to town. The facility felt very safe, secure, sturdy, and clean. I always had positive interactions with the staff. It was easy to get in & out of my unit. And none of my items were damaged. Storage Star in Sonoma: Super clean facility, very friendly management. I’ve been renting storage space for years throughout the Sonoma area and Storage Star by far is the best place to rent from. Kind ppl, easy to work with, Jason & Yolonda are great.
This facility is fabulous! Clean, well lite, organized and secure!! Just wish they would pro rate my rent as I moved out on the 11th and had already paid for the month!! Circumstances were that the home I was building had been finished early.
***Update 6/15/2024 - Find a better place for your items. The company is not reliable anymore. In 2020 they had a wonderful manager. And everything went downhill when she left in 2022. There were rats that got into my storage unit last year. Storage Star seems to have endless employee turnover, and ended up doing nothing to help with the damages of items chewed and rat dropping everywhere. I purchased a unit and tried to obtain the unit multiple times during business hours. I continuously confirmed with the call center that someone was onsite. No one was ever there and I was not able to obtain a unit. This also shows there is no security at the Sonoma location.
