My father and I came in having done the research online first. But when we got there, of course we knew somethings maybe a little different then that which was offered online because there are several locations. Miss Shatana was very polite very understanding. She was also very cordial and professional. We laughed and she was very informative about her position. We did understand that she has only been there a little over a month, However, it seems like she has her task under control. I wanted a storage unit on the first ... read more
I have experience not only at this location, but also in other states and facilities. This historic building in the center of what was once industrial Troy has been completely restored and given new life, remaining true to its purpose of serving people. Climate control, reliable security, convenient lighting, and good access make it unique and convenient in all aspects. During my 6 months of interacting with the staff, I haven't noticed any difficulties in communication; they have always been helpful. I highly recommend this... read more
Very shady operation. I won an auction, paid for the unit, gave the cleaning deposit, was in the process of clearing it out, and the staff person who was with me and stayed in the beginning to watch what we had, came to cancel the transaction after a whole hour. Extra space storage was very accommodating, clean, temp controlled, easy access to the building!! I would rent storage space from them again i a heartbeat if ever needed!! I also recommend to my friends and family, whether it’s short term or long-term, they have what you need!! Customer service was also very friendly and knowledgeable!!
There are never any employees there to deal with customers. I had a reservation for over a month. Anytime I attempted to go and show my ID there was no employees there even though they said there would be. By time it came for us to be able to get our stuff in, they suddenly lost our reservation. Leaving us with less than 24 hours to find another storage unit. We did in fact go and find another storage company to use, and we're treated with much more professionalism and attention. The few times we ever spoke to an employee a... read more
