Nothing works at this place none Of the gates work so they’re just wide open 24/7. The doors to access the building don’t all work so you have to search for one that does after that When you finally enter, good luck finding a cart so there’s your next journey. The way the building is designed is for you to pull into a nice heated area where carts are in the elevators are to make it flow. I worked with Shawn the manager at Store Space Storage. He was exceptionally professional and helpful. I have some photography equipment that I needed to get out of the basement and he provided me with the right solution. If you need something stored in a climate, cool environment, I recommend store space self storage in Pontiac on Centerpoint Drive.
I had my stuff in storage for over a year. $94 a month. The facilities are nice - temperature controlled, cleaned. The lower rating is in regards the following: 1) the person I dealt with when checking out was incredibly rude. Unbelievably so. You just don’t talk to long time customers as if they were trash. 2) access to the garage has routinely been limited due to malfunctions. Access to my storage unit has been obstructed.
Horrible facility. Not sure what went wrong. Very engaged team is now non-existent, clean facility is now filthy, climate-controlled is now barely above freezing, all access doors except for one are broken, cannot move out furniture because all garage door entrances are blocked off with a note that says “waiting for part”…which has been up for 10 weeks. Cannot get any answers or resolution to the fact that the facility is completely broke down. All messages go unreturned. If you don’t pay in protest, they lock your unit off.... read more
