Beware! Locked my stuff inside over a holiday weekend. They put in my code wrong and I couldn’t access my locker at all for three days. The staff is awful and unhelpful and tried to say it was my fault. Very unprofessional.
We are having an excellent experience at Secure Self Storage in Ithaca. After searching around, we feel very fortunate these people had availability, as transitioning from moving cubes to storage was complex and we really appreciate their presence at the facility and the ease of communication. The people who work in the office are really nice, and we feel they gave us a nice welcome to Ithaca. The customer service is terrible. I was charged two additional months after I had moved my belongings out and wasn’t issued a refund because of a fine print statement on the lease. This would be fine and I would have taken the blame for it if not for when I went in to actually sign the lease, I was rushed into it and not given nearly enough time to read any of it. I moved in to my storage unit in February of 2013. While I have been there, I've had no issues at all with the unit. The management team has been extremely supportive. Prior to moving in, I looked at several other sites and this one by far is the cleanest and most spacious compared to the other units. The location is very convenient. All in all, I am very satisfied with my decision to move in to Ithaca Secure Self Storage.
What a lovely experience! The manager was friendly and knowledgeable and helped me determine the correct size I needed (I had no clue!). I feel confident my belongings are safe here! If you are looking for storage, this is the place!
