I give store local self storage 5 ****** stars. They were a blessing when I needed a storage unit in an emergency situation and they accommodated me with in 3 hours, which was huge and took a load off my family. The place is always clean n well lite, easy easy access, climate control which we needed to. they have al ways been polite n pleasant n answer any questions I have or had. they have several storeage units in other areas of Tennessee. I recently took over a unit from a friend. When I took my first payment to the office the gentleman came outside and explained the amount was incorrect and I was shy $30.00. As it was a check I asked if I could simply make it up on next months payment or if need be I would get him another check. Apparently he noticed that I was wearing my Marine Corp Veteran hat and asked if I was a veteran to which I replied yes. He stated that the amount was fine going forward and walked away. I was a customer for 2 1/2 years. Units are fine, customer service was very good. We started with a 10' x 20' , price increases made us change after one year to a 10' x 10'. Cancelled today because cost increases. Now pay as much for 10' x 10' as original cost of 10' x 20' , double in price. Not affordable or acceptable. That is price gouging!! Paul W.

Avoid this self storage at all costs. I was going through a divorce and was forced to empty my house immediately. I blindly picked this storage place because it was convenient. Wrong move. They blindly without warning raise your prices. I'm on a fixed income. I started out with 4 units because I was in such a hurry I just grabbed everything. I posted earlier in the summer about the trouble I was having with Port Royal Storage in Spring Hill, TN. We were having issues with the payment software not crediting our account and being locked out of our unit although we had paid. Since then, I have spoken with Joel, the manager there. He worked with headquarters and got everything worked out. Renee, a upper manager, contacted me and offered to pay a month of storage because she regretted the difficulties we had. I really appreciate their efforts to make things right.

I had a storage unit here for almost 2 years. During that time, I've had the pleasure of meeting the owner several times, and he was always pleasant, helpful and willing to go to extra mile to make his customers happy. At Port Royal Storage you get small-town, personal service from a really great storage unit company. I've been especially happy about how secure the unit has been although I used a cheap little lock.
