Everything is very secure and the prices are fair, but the website would probably benefit from being rewritten to be clearer about the process of authorization and access. It currently says that you can either verify your ID online or at their office, except the location is fully automatic and does not have an office. This is such a user-friendly storage site from phone accessibility to responsive and kind staff. I highly recommend Storelocal Iowa in the South of 6 Iowa City Business District on the south side of town to anyone looking to store for a short or extended period of time!
After shopping around for a storage space in the Iowa City area, I finally found Storelocal Storage Co-Op. It is a fantastic facility! Renting a space was done easily online. The facility is clean, climate controlled, and very secure. It uses an app to handle all access and billing issues. The app can be set to use your fingerprint to open it, and then you use the app for bluetooth/remote access to unlock the facility's exterior doors. Very well kept storage facility. There’s a 30 day move out notice and I completely spaced on it when moving out of my unit. The manager was very understanding and worked with me to get out free of charge even though I did not give the notice. Awesome staff!
Store local seems like an economical option for storage with many sizes to choose from. Good security and convenient high-tech access. Close to the Iowa City Post Office.
