Abraham with their finance team was so polite, respectful and helpful person. He resolved the issue in a matter of minutes. As for who we dealt with signing up and keeping track of the payments etc. I believe that was a Michelle. Not so helpful and they raised the rent ever 6 months. Would not recommend StorSafe. Abraham was extremely helpful after StoreSafe kept billing us every we left 2 months go which there were aware of.
I have nothing positive to say about this place. I unfortunately rented a parking space here for roughly a year. 1. Nothing is maintained. The parking area lot is in shambles (pavement is falling apart). The gate also doesn’t open half of the time. 2. They will increase the price by about 40% after about six months of renting. They claimed this was due to “ the promotional price period ending”, none of that was explained during sign-up, nor was it explained on the website. Do not cancel online. They do not get notified of a cancellation (for some reason) when you cancel online. You must call two times and send them pictures. Also you must send proof of insurance even if you opt out of their insurance or they will charge you regardless. My rent went from $70 plus $12 insurance to $118 in one month. I had already moved my camper out the previous month. When I notified them of that, that’s when I was informed that they do not get notified of online cancellations. I walked into a lobby which only contained 2 tablets and a large monitor on the wall. After a few minutes Melanie appeared on the screen from Chicago. I was hoping to talk to someone in person and it was comfortable speaking with her remotely. She gave me options for unit sizes and then called me and guided me to drive to the available unit. Excellent customer service from William. The rental was smooth. We stopped for information on renting a boat; spoke with William completely virtual (real person) and he was able to give us a virtual tour (in person) of the unit. He chose an end unit with plenty of room to get boat in and out of unit. He listened to our needs and concerns, met all of our expectations, and got us rented that same day much faster than any other storage facility, with reasonable prices.
