It was my first experience and after this I'm not sure I will ever use a storage facility place again. First off there are absolutely no directions for anything and it's awful finding a unit . Also they have mice and they tore into my freezer and destroyed the electrical part and the freon part of the lines. The protection plan only covers up to 500.00 on a 1000.00 freezer . Absolutely the worst experience of my life. They took over from Castle, cut services, raised the price by 15%, dropped the temp in a "climate controlled" storage unit to 35 degrees, have no one answering the phone, and expect the tenants to shovel snow in front of their own units. I kid you not. Go ahead and rent here - you'll be very sorry.
Great Experience. Once you learn that the best way to communicate is via text, and they have a user-friendly website, you will find it easy to work with StorSafe. In past years, I was accustomed to interfacing with a real person at a desk at other facilities, but their system is remote. Yes, they answer the phone, too. Very clean. Safe. Access is easy at all hours. Just don't be surprised when they increase the prices every few months.
Such an easy registration and move -in process at StorSafe of M.C. Rates seemed comparable for the area. It was nice to have dollies available to make the move easier.
When I first moved in we had snow on the ground. No snowplowing occurred in the lot and I had to wait 3 days for the lot to be cleared. I was given a discounted rate for my inconvenience that was frankly still way too expensive , but did it anyway because I was in a time crunch. Rates are high but facility is clean and nice size units.
