Avoid Storsafe in Michigan City, IN There are plenty of storage options in the area—don’t choose this one. The facility has serious issues with mice and trash. While they eventually cleaned up the garbage out front, the rodent problem inside continues. What’s worse, management is unresponsive—a supervisor wouldn’t even return my calls. This place used to be well-managed, but it's gone downhill fast.

I do not recommend storing your personal property here due to mice infestation and there is also people living in here. The property is very unclean and you won’t know until it’s too late because everything is done digitally. My items have been here less than a month and the unit is full of mouse poop.

dont rent here its infested with mice. they dont want to help you even tho you pay rent and have there insureance. its a hassell please just dont rent here my son has been fighting them his stuff was only there about 3 weeks and it smells so strong with mice urine in the building they scam you for rent but dont want to take care of the problem with the mice.

After closing my account and they confirming my move out... they charged me the next week and won't return my phone calls. Supper shady. Had to call my bank to dispute the charges.

It was my first experience and after this I'm not sure I will ever use a storage facility place again. First off there are absolutely no directions for anything and it's awful finding a unit . Also they have mice and they tore into my freezer and destroyed the electrical part and the freon part of the lines. The protection plan only covers up to 500.00 on a 1000.00 freezer . I was lucky they didn't destroy our tvs ! They also insist on a receipt for anything that gets damaged ...which is absolutely absurd even after you prov... read more
