In this report it seems like the customers only concern is price. It is unfortunate, however that we cannot compare apples to apples. If we could see the other company's estimate or speak with the customer we would ask several questions such as: 1. Are their crew members employees or do they use day laborers? Is the company fully insured including Workers Compensation to protect the homeowner? Did the company include a permit for the City of Carrollton? What type of warranty was the company offering, was it pro-rated? All of these things contribute to the cost of a repair and most times when you compare jobs item to item we are usually very, very competitive. A lot of times, we are the most economical, while still being ethical. The customer also stated that he couldn't tell if our representative was "...just trying to make a sale". Our representative actually took the time to send the customer a article discouraging root barriers instead of just giving them a price to install them. As a company, our motto is "do the right thing" and we feel we provide a quality service. We are disappointed that this customer thinks the service we provided is only worth a "B" rating since she repeatedly states that we did nothing wrong, she liked our representative, we followed up, sent her information and our repair plan was similar to the one she chose. Again, her only complaint appears to be cost and the service she was provided by us was free.

THE MATERIAL ON THE MEMBER'S FRONT PORCH WAS A MATERIAL WE WERE UNFAMILIAR WITH. IT TOOK SOME TIME TO RESOLVE THE MATTER AS WE WERE LOOKING FOR A MATCH. BECAUSE IT WAS A COSMETIC ISSUE, BY OUR CONTRACT, THE HOMEOWNER WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING FOR THE REPAIR, HOWEVER, AFTER MUCH DELIBERATION, THE HOMEOWNER MADE THE DECISION TO HAVE THE PORCH PATCHED WITH A DIFFERENT MATERIAL AND THE PATCH WAS COMPLETED BY OUR COMPANY ON 09/05/2008.
